Andrew Balding hasnt ruled out stepping up with Kameko to Group One level before the end of the season.
The Kingsclere handler is considering drop him back to seven furlongs for the Criterium International in ParisLongchamp or whether to keep the boy of Kittens Joy at a mile in the Verterm Futurity Trophy.
After building a winning debut at Sandown, the Qatar juvenile finished back in that track in the Solario Stakes before filling the position at Newmarket.
Balding said:Hes two entrances, the Verterm Futurity Trophy and also the seven-furlong Group One in ParisLongchamp. If he runs this year, Hell run in among them.
I am not sure I would want to be running over a mile on gentle ground at Doncaster.

It was slightly frustrating that he got beat at the Royal Lodge, however, I think weve got a very good horse on our palms and he is just likely to improve.
