European Qualifiers on Sky: Iceland vs France and Portugal vs Luxembourg

Previews and team information ahead of the internationals of Friday, featuring Portugal France, England and more.
Team information: Iceland will probably be overlooking captain Aron Gunnarsson, whos ruled out through injury, although Premier League gamers Gylfi Sigurdsson and Johann Berg Gudmundsson must feature.
France have a injury list. Kylian Mbappe, Hugo Lloris, Paul Pogba, Aymeric Laporte and Anthony Martial are Turkey on Tuesday, or Only a few of those players that will not contain against Iceland.
While a number of those younger players at Frances squad can receive their opportunity, steve Mandanda should arrive in for Lloris.
How to watch: Coverage begins on Sky Sports Football from 7.40pm; kick-off reaches 7.45pm.
What is the state of play in Group H? Since France get set to face Turkey and Iceland its a critical week in Group H. Two wins out of two to get Didier Deschamps side, that now sit second in the group behind Turkey and of Iceland, will watch them take a huge stride towards qualification.
Albania, who are six points from Turkey and France, will be hoping they could still sneak into the spots with four games to go, however theres not much room for error to get Edoardo Rejas side.
Coming up in Group H: October 11 – Iceland vs France, Turkey vs Albania, Andorra vs Moldova; October 14 – France vs Turkey, Iceland vs Andorra, Moldova vs Albania
Charlie Nicholas prediction:Iceland are great, but theyve been fighting above their weight for a while, so I am fancying France to walk off with the win here. France have too much power, and Antoine Griezmann, although not quite shooting for Barcelona yet, will play his role in a France triumph in this one.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 0-2 (5/1 with Sky Bet)
Team information: celebrity names like Bernardo Silva, Joao Felix, Cristiano Ronaldo and Goncalo Guedes have been included in the group, and Portugal have no harm issues.
Olympiakos centre-back Ruben Semedo was named in the squad for the very first time, while Barcelonas Nelson Semedo is predicted to commence before the Joao Cancelo of Manchester City in right-back.
Luxembourg have a clean bill of health, with Maurice Deuville expected to direct the lineup.
How to see: Coverage starts on Sky Sports Premier League in 7.40pm; kick-off reaches 7.45pm.
Whats the state of play in Team B? Life is looking rosy for Ukraine, who look set to make up in a row on top of Group B. A triumph over Lithuania on Friday would all but find them through.
Portugal are far from assured of a chance to keep the trophy they won at France in 2016, however they do have a game in hand over third-placed Serbia and a win over minnows Luxembourg will provide them a breathing space.
Should they wish to continue to keep their dreams alive, while Lithuania must provide a jolt in Ukraine luxembourgs unlikely shot at a place will soon be over with defeat to Portugal.
Coming up in Group B: October 11 – Ukraine vs Lithuania, Portugal vs Luxembourg; October 14 – Ukraine vs Portugal
All games are live on the Sky Sports program, along with Sky Sports Football via the Red Button. All of kick-offs have been 7.45pm, unless said.
Here is the Complete list:
Team information: as James Maddison pulled from the group meaning he will not feature from Bulgaria or even the Czech Republic England were dealt an injury blow on Thursday. Fabian Delph (hamstring) and Tom Heaton also have retreated through injury, together with Sheffield United goalkeeper Dean Henderson replacing the latter.
Tammy Abraham could make his first aggressive England cap, with played friendlies, while Chelsea team-mate Fikayo Tomori is at the group for the first time and could make his first England appearance. Tyrone Mings also expects his first cap.
For the Czech Republic, David Pavelka, David Hovorka and Filip Novak are injured, while midfielder Lukas Kalvach can make his debut.
What is the state of playwith? Its starting to appear to be a case of when, not if, for England. After a fun win over nearest rivals Kosovo last workout, they already have a four-point pillow in the qualification places and a match in hand.
A triumph over Czech Republic on Friday will seal their path to the finals, plus they could guarantee best spot too should they perform the double and beat Bulgaria next week or Kosovo neglect to take maximum points at home to Montenegro.
The second place is more up for grabs. Should they dont beat England on October 11, czech Republic are now second but might possibly be leapfrogged by Kosovo. Both winless with two points each, montenegro and Bulgaria, will require something approaching a miracle
Charlie Nicholas prediction:These will be the top 2 from Group A and it is a game Czech Republic might have to chase. While the squad is bolstered by the addition of Tammy Abraham in Chelsea and Mason Mount, harry Kane is with the struggles of Tottenham. Gareth Southgate may not begin them and it may be a more experienced side with Raheem Kane, Sterling and Jadon Sancho up front. Therell be a slight advantage to it, where the problem is different, but the centre-backs of England may be. Exactly what will the pairing be? John Stones is injured and Harry Maguire is not in the ideal form, therefore this may be a worry.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 (7/1 with Sky Bet)
